- How to Post Professional Fees?
Note: Posting Professional Fees to Inpatients, Outpatients and Emergencies requires the same process. The example below will illustrate the guidelines on how to post PF to an Inpatient.
- Select and highlight the patient who will be posted a professional fee.
- Click "Post Professional Fees" under the Sub Components.
- The Post Professional Fees window will appear.
- You can perform the following tasks for this column below:
- PHIC Type – Change the PHIC Type of the doctor by selecting from the drop-down menu in this column.
- Role Type – Choose the role type of the doctor based on the type of patient.
Note: It is mandatory that you choose Attending for Inpatients and Admitting for Outpatient and Emergencies.
- PF Amount – Enter the Professional Fee Amount under the PF Amount column.
- Others Amount - If there are other amounts to be entered, key in the amount under Other Amount column.
- Instrument Fee – If there is an Instrument Fee to be applied, specify the amount under its column
- Add or Delete Consultant – You can Add or Delete a Consultant, just click the appropriate buttons below
- Click the Post Button to save the transaction.


- How to Apply Senior/PWD Discounts to Professional Fees?
Note: Posting Professional Fees with Senior/PWD Discount to Inpatients, Outpatients and Emergencies requires the same process. The example below will illustrate the guidelines on how to post PF to an Inpatient.
- Enter the Professional Fee Amount in the PF Amount column.
- Check the box under the "?" column to enable the discount for Senior or PWD Discount.
- The system will automatically compute the discount, displaying the net amount after the discount is applied.
- Click Post to save the transaction.
